Meet the School Counselor

Hello Fort Zeller Families!
I am so excited for another fun school year! I hope you had a wonderful summer and spent some time relaxing and having fun. I missed you and can't wait to see your smiling faces again!
Parents, here's a little about me: I have been working in education for 14 years (this is my 7th year at ELCO) and working with primary students is my favorite! I graduated from Bloomsburg University in 2010 with my Bachelor's Degree in English and then in 2012 with my Master's degree in School Counseling. Before coming to ELCO, I worked as a K-5 School Counselor, a Mental Health Consultant/SAP Liaison, and a Behavior Specialist. Being able to work in a K-2 building every day is a dream!
When I'm not here at school, I'm at home with my husband and 2 kids. My daughter is 9 and my son is 5 and they both keep me very busy. We like to be outside as much as possible. Walking, riding bikes, and hiking are how we spend much of our time; although, we do like to stay home and watch movies sometimes too! My hobbies include backpacking (long distance hiking), traveling as much as I can, and reading.
If you need anything, would like to discuss concerns about your student, or have questions about the school counseling program at Fort Zeller, please reach out. I would love to hear from you!
